Heart Work
If you’re anything like me, I’ve spent my whole life craving and searching for meaningful communal connection with women: safe, heart-based, creative, joyful spaces where we can explore what it means to be women ancestrally, in the present day, in our families, as daughters, mothers, and lovers, in our deep quiet relationships with ourselves…hands to hands and face to face.
If you too have been longing for this connection, come join the community of sisters exploring this heart work. Connection to ourselves, connection to each other, connection to our capacity to live lives with intension and purity of heart.
In the Tradition of the Wild Woman Project, each month we’ll come together around New Moon time to recalibrate with ourselves and each other. To reflect. To reset. To engage our ancestral, ritualistic, creative selves. To create together. To be refined through the loving, safe embrace of sister community.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Each 2 hour New Moon Circle will center on a theme of reflection. Themes are connected to nature, the feminine principles and architypes, the balance between feminine and masculine principles in our bodies and lives, living lives aligned with our truest selves, etc. The theme will be announced when registration opens for each circle, either in person at the closing of the circle or online with each FB event.
A 2 hour circle will involve tea, oracle cards, a heart-centering meditation, exploration of the theme, a guided visualization and embodiment of the theme, journaling and oracle card reflection, circle time sharing, and a closing ritual. Some circles may include crafting, art, reiki or massage exploration, or other creative ways of engaging with the theme. The circle is made up of sisters who agree to listen to each other and support the beautiful goal of tuning in to our own inner wisdom. Shura as the group facilitator, is not a therapist in or leader of the group, but merely the host and guide, as a fellow sister, to foster connection.
Suggested energy exchange: $40 per person.
*Due to the personal nature of moon circles, such as friendship formation, sharing about personal lives and stories, etc., Shura requests current Psychotherapy clients not attend to preserve the specific container of that relationship.
